You Asked: "I Don't Eat and Can't Sleep When I'm Depressed. Do I Need to Try Medication?"

I tend not to eat when I get really depressed, which makes me really tired, but then I can't sleep and I have weird dreams. Because I can’t sleep, I’m even more tired. I try to fix foods I typically enjoy, but everything tastes like sawdust and I have trouble just swallowing. Come spring, I am underweight, tired and look ragged. Do I need to just break down and try medication? --piananana
