WATCH: Zac Efron Takes on Jimmy Kimmel in a Bra-Unhooking Contest

The actor shows off his skills on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Plus, he reveals why shooting his sex scenes in The Lucky One was a breeze

Zac Efron made his female fans swoon (even more than usual) when, in a recent interview, he displayed his affinity for effortlessly unhooking bras. So when the actor visited Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday night to promote his new film The Lucky One, host Jimmy Kimmel decided to test Zac's undergarment-removing mettle by challenging the 24-year-old to a live bra-unhooking contest.

With his reputation on the line, Efron agreed to the contest, albeit sheepishly. Kimmel then introduced his sidekick Guillermo wearing four bras layered on top of one another, and another man named Guillermo in the same get-up. The challenge was to see whether Kimmel or Efron could unhook the four bras faster.

"Don't get any funny ideas," Efron warned Guillermo 2.0 before the contest began. "You're a little bigger than most of the girls I've done this on." Watch below!

Not surprisingly, Efron trounced Kimmel -- and even helped Jimmy unlatch his last bra with a proud swipe.

So where did Zac develop those mad skills? Well, he likely got plenty of bra-unhooking practice on the set of The Lucky One. He and costar Taylor Schilling share some pretty steamy sex scenes in the movie -- but to hear Zac tell it, filming them a walk in the park.

"From his past films, (director Scott Hicks) is incredible with capturing the love in those scenes. Everyone builds those scenes up," Efron tells People. "There is sort of a fear inherent in everyone else, so me and Taylor weren't afraid at all."

Schilling, however, wasn't quite so relaxed -- at least not initially.

"I was very nervous," the 27-year-old tells People. "(Then) I met Zac in hair and makeup, and we just hit it off immediately. It was just very easy and that sort of click is something you can't describe but you just really hope for, because then it just makes the process really easy. I feel lucky to count him as a friend."

Schilling says that it also helped that they filmed all of the sex scenes at the end of the shoot. "I had never been to New Orleans and (Zac) knew New Orleans and we were able to hang out a bunch, so we were at that point very comfortable with each other," she explains. "I think the harder part is doing some of the emotional scenes and then once those are done, it's like, you want me to kiss you? Meh. No big deal."
